Welcome Father Santy
Father Santiago Turiano, Jr. became the Admiinistrator for St. James Parish on September 1, 2019. Father Santy, as he likes to be called, is from the Phillipines, and has only been in the U.S.for a few months. He has 5 brothers and 3 sisters, and was ordained in 2003. In addition to serving in the Phillipines, Father Santy also was assigned to the Solomon Islands for a period of time. He has an adventurous spirit, and likes all kinds of outdoor activities, especially tennis. Father Santy resides at St. James Parish, where a portion of the Parish Center has been remodeled for a rectory. Thank you for coming to minister to our church!
Deacon Cal Naidl - St. James and St. Joseph Cluster
Deacon Cal Naidl was born in Manitowoc and worked as an electrician for 34 years before his retirement. He was ordained into the Diaconate in 2000 after 5 years of training at the Diocese of Green Bay through Silver Lake College.
As part of his ministries, Deacon Cal assists Fr. Ron with pastoral and sacramental needs of the linked parishes. On Mondays he leads a Liturgy of the Word with Communion service at St. Mary Glenmore. He assists Sr. Gerri with the RCIA program, and helps out with other services as needed. As a deacon he can perform baptisms and marriages giving great assistance to our Circle of Faith Community.
Deacon Cal has been married to Karen for 45 years and has 4 children and 4 grandchildren. He is a true Wisconsin fan and follows the Packers, Brewers, and Milwaukee Bucks. He enjoys reading as well as music and song writing in his free time.
Deacon Cal has been granted Senior Permanent Deacon Status as of June 17, 2018.
